The Infamous appeared to name it quits in a late-night tweet on Monday … saying “I’ve determined to retire from the game formally generally known as ‘Combined Martial Artwork’ as we speak.”
“I believe there’s no approach I’m shopping for it,” Askren says. “This isn’t first time he’s tweeted out one thing like this.” It is true … Conor “retired” back in 2016 too.
Askren factors out the timing — proper after the negotiations with Donald Cerrone falling aside … and says it is primarily an enormous recreation of rooster between Dana and Conor to see who will cave first.
“In the event you have a look at Dana White’s response that may be a negotiating tactic again. He is saying, ‘okay, bye, see ya later, have a terrific profession’. So, it was kinda a negotiating tactic again saying, ‘okay, high-quality have a terrific retirement.'”
So, if neither facet involves an settlement, have we REALLY seen the final of Conor? Ben says if he was a betting man, “you’re most likely placing your whole cash on the truth that you will notice Conor preventing someday sooner or later.”
“I do not assume he is gone in any respect. I am not shopping for that even the slightest bit.”
