Lionel Simenya loss of life: Police arrest 21-year-old in reference to alleged homicide of chef


POLICE have arrested a 21-year-old man in reference to the alleged homicide of Lionel Simenya.

Lionel Simenya, 36, initially from Burundi, died after being discovered on Ford’s Highway within the Saughton space of town round three.50am on March 7.

Lionel, who was 36, was discovered useless on the street on Fords Highway final Thursday after being hit by a Peugeot 207 stolen from a close-by storage.

Automotive thieves then deserted the automotive and fled over a footbridge by the Water of Leith.

Brother Nicolas Simenya flew in from Belgium on Wednesday and issued a public plea to assist discover the individuals accountable for Lionel’s loss of life.
