Boy, 15, charged after man left with extreme abdomen wound in ‘critical’ Stapleton Highway assault


A 15-year-old boy has been arrested after a person was left with a extreme damage to his abdomen in a critical assault in east Bristol.

The person was attacked on Stapleton Highway in Easton, between the junctions with St Mark’s Highway and Fishponds Highway, on Tuesday, March 19.

The incident occurred between 10.45pm and 10.55pm.

A 15-year-old boy has been charged with grievous bodily hurt and possession of a bladed article.

The boy – who can’t be named for authorized causes – is because of seem at Bristol Crown Court on April 15.

In a press release, Avon and Somerset Police mentioned: “A 15-year-old boy has been charged with GBH and possession of a bladed article after a critical assault on Stapleton Highway.

“A person suffered a critical wound to his stomach.
